1. Provider and acceptance
iGenPDF is a web service for creating PDF documents with artificial intelligence assistance. The service is provided by:
- Legal owner
- igenpdf
- Contact email
- legal@igenpdf.com
By creating an account, accessing the application, or using iGenPDF, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms and the Privacy policy. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
2. Eligibility and account
- You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
- You are responsible for protecting your credentials and device and for activity carried out through your account.
- You may not share, transfer, or sell the account or allow unauthorised access.
Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account access. Authentication is managed through Clerk and may also be subject to Clerk's terms as an independent provider.
3. What iGenPDF provides
iGenPDF lets you provide instructions, attach PDF, DOC, or DOCX files, generate content and design with AI, request revisions, arrange pagination, preview the result, and download a PDF.
The service is in beta. Some features may contain errors, change, or become temporarily unavailable. Site descriptions explain the general functionality but do not guarantee that a particular feature will remain available indefinitely.
You need a compatible device, a current browser, and an Internet connection. File size, format, number of files, and generation volume may be limited for technical, security, or plan-related reasons.
4. Credits, plans, and payments
Each generation may consume credits according to processing use. The application shows the available balance and may prevent a new generation where the balance is insufficient. Promotional, trial, or free credits may be limited, expire, and be non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
If paid plans or purchases are offered, you will be told before purchase about the total price, taxes, included service, duration, renewal, payment methods, and applicable cancellation conditions. Those specific terms form part of the contract and prevail for the matters they expressly govern.
Nothing in these terms restricts any non-waivable consumer rights, including a right of withdrawal where applicable. If you ask for digital content or a digital service to begin during a withdrawal period, we will obtain any acceptance or acknowledgement required by law.
5. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
You may use iGenPDF for lawful personal or professional purposes in accordance with these terms, third-party rights, and applicable law. You must not:
- Submit or generate illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, exploitative, or rights-infringing content.
- Upload secrets, personal data, intellectual property, or confidential information without sufficient authority or legal basis.
- Distribute malware, interfere with security, test vulnerabilities without permission, or degrade the service.
- Circumvent limits, credits, or access controls, automate an abusive volume of requests, or resell the service without authorisation.
- Impersonate others, mislead people about an output's origin, or claim that iGenPDF professionally validated a document.
- Reverse engineer or systematically extract the service, except to the extent expressly permitted by mandatory law.
6. Your content and required permissions
You retain the rights you hold in prompts, files, and other content you submit. You grant the provider a limited, non-exclusive licence for the time needed to host, copy, process, transform, and transmit that content solely to provide and protect the requested service and troubleshoot technical incidents.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit the content and instruct us to process it. You are responsible for checking that its use does not infringe intellectual property, confidentiality, data protection, or other third-party rights.
Do not use iGenPDF as your only repository. Download and retain your own copies; permanent availability of projects and results is not guaranteed.
7. AI-generated outputs
Artificial intelligence can produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or non-unique content. You must review the text, data, sources, design, and pagination before using or sharing any document.
Outputs are not legal, medical, financial, tax, employment, or other professional advice. Do not rely on them without qualified human review to make high-impact decisions, meet regulatory duties, or affect another person's rights.
To the extent allowed by law and our technology providers' terms, you may use the generated output. We do not guarantee that it is unique, free of third-party rights, or eligible for registration or intellectual property protection.
8. Intellectual property in the service
The software, interface, design, logos, iGenPDF brand, documentation, and other proprietary service elements belong to the provider or its licensors. These terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to access and use the service.
You may submit suggestions voluntarily. Unless otherwise agreed, we may use them to improve the service without payment, without publicly identifying you, and in accordance with data-protection law.
9. Availability, changes, and suspension
We aim to keep iGenPDF available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, change limits, replace providers, or add or remove features for technical, legal, security, or business reasons.
We may limit or suspend access if we detect a security risk, non-payment, insufficient credits, abusive use, or breach of these terms. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach.
You can stop using the service at any time and request account closure. Closure does not remove outstanding obligations or data that may lawfully need to be retained.
10. Liability
You are responsible for your instructions, files, revisions, downloads, and use of outputs. The provider is liable under applicable law for direct loss attributable to it.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from unreviewed incorrect information, use contrary to these terms, failures of third-party networks or services, avoidable loss caused by not downloading a copy, or indirect or unforeseeable loss.
Nothing in this section excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, personal injury, infringement of consumer rights, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Third-party services
iGenPDF relies on providers such as Clerk and OpenAI. Their services and policies may affect some features. We do not control linked external websites, although we select providers and apply the contractual and data-protection obligations required by law.
11. Governing law, changes, and contact
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings before any court available to you by law. In business-to-business relationships, disputes will be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.
Before filing a claim, we invite you to contact us so we can seek a resolution. You may also contact any competent consumer authority or applicable alternative-dispute-resolution scheme.
We may update these terms to reflect legal, technical, or service changes. The applicable version will show its revision date. If a change materially affects an ongoing relationship, we will provide reasonable advance notice where required.
